SECOND DAY OF THE WORLD EFFICIENCY: SHOW & CONGRESS

The term "sustainable cities" was endorsed in 1994 in Aalborg by the European movement conformed by more than 400 cities, all of which signed the European Charter for Sustainable Cities, in which they agreed to adopt measures to promote sustainability.

The conference "World Efficiency" is a place that brings together economic and political actors from around the world seeking solutions to maintain and conserve natural resources and the environment. In this exhibition issues concerning energy production, management water, construction and management, future industry, production, materials and supplies, transportation and mobility, and food and agriculture are developed and discussed.

As part of its second day held on Wednesday October 14th, 2015, there were developed, among other topics, energy efficiency, green transport and sustainable mobility, global energy consumption, climate change and the progress made on these issues.

To promote efficient environmental management that increases the productivity of Countries, and to generate Sustainable Cities is the main purpose of "World Efficiency", in which professional experts have come together in order to contribute with their knowledge and find ways to promote sustainable development in modern cities.
